| Commonly Asked Questions: 1.What should we wear? We are not concerned with the style of clothing you wear. God's looks upon the heart, and so do we. 2.What kind of music do you sing? We sing all types; from contemporary to traditional. If it's God honoring we think it's appropriate to sing. It does not matter if the song was written 200 years ago or yesterday. 3.Do you offer age appropriate bible study? Yes. We have classes for all age groups. 4. Do you have a nursery? Yes. We have Godly caring ladies who look after the children. 5. Do you support missions? Yes. This has been a priority from the beginning. Liberty tithes off of the offerings given to it, to support mission work. We also take special offerings for various works. 6.Do you sponsor activities that promote closer fellowship with one another? Yes. We try to plan several events each year. 7. Does your church believe in outreach to the community? Yes. We plan dates for community wide canvassing to spread the Gospel, and we have helped many families in need with food boxes and clothing. 8.Are you kid friendly? Yes. This has also been a priority since day one. We believe kids should be taught the word of God, and learn how to have wholesome fun. 9.Do you have specialized ministries or groups? Yes. Not only do we have men's and women's groups that meet monthly, but we also have a jail ministry. 10.What does a typical Sunday morning worship service look like? We start at 11:00am and we enter into worship with prayer and singing. We sing anywhere from 3 to 6 songs depending on other activities. There will be a time to worship by giving an offering, and we will let the children bring their change forward. We will make any announcements necessary before the preaching begins. Prayer is very important to us, and it is always a vital part of each service. The pastor will preach according to how God has led him, then we dismiss in prayer. Service is usually over by 12:30. |
We are a Body of Believers who came together with a united goal.......to worship and serve God.We wanted to maintain our common faith of the Free Will Baptist and wanted to build a church based on love for God, love for one another, and a church where all were welcomed, no matter of their color, race, or status. We desired a church where everyone would want to get involved and where there would be many different ministries springing up. An emphasis has been placed on training of the body and of our responsibility to share Jesus with others. On November 14, 2004, we started on such a journey. We weren't sure what to expect, but God has been amazing. We have seen many come to the Lord and have been blessed with more than we could imagine. We have continued to grow, and we were able to purchase our own building and property at the end of 2007. On September 28, 2008, we held our first service in our new building. The Lord continues to amaze us. We believe God calls willing people and not perfect people. That means that all can be used for the building of His Kingdom; no matter your past.
