The purpose of this site is to express the views, beliefs, and activities of
Liberty Free Will Baptist Church of Portland, Inc.
As professing Christians, we serve to uphold what believe are the teachings of the Bible ( God’s Holy Word).
Though there is a movement to render parts of the Bible as hate speech, we hold fast to the truth, that God knows best; and His truths are not always easily received.
We believe the Bible clearly teaches what sin is, that it brings death, and that God must punish sin.
Salvation and Heaven are only available to those who have placed their faith in God’s only begotten Son - Jesus Christ.
We believe that there is therefore, only one way to heaven, only one way to be saved, and that not all will be saved. This is why we believe in the preaching of the whole counsel of the Bible, and that all scripture is profitable.
We believe that there is only one God, and that He exist in three distinct personages, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, since we hold these truths to be self evident, we feel compelled by our held personal beliefs, that we must publicly profess Jesus Christ as Lord, and that there is no other under heaven by which mankind must be saved.
We hold to God given inalienable rights, that whether received or not, what we believe to true in God’s Word (the Bible), must be preached to all.
There is coming a time of judgment, and only those which having saving faith in Jesus Christ, will escape the final wrath of God. It is this belief, that motivates us to go public and vocal with the message of Jesus Christ (the gospel), that each person is to repent, and to seek forgiveness and cleansing of sin through the shed blood of God’s Son, that was offered as our propitiation on Calvary’s Hill.
We encourage you, and all who hear this message, to turn from the wickedness of sin, and seek the salvation that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
